Status Quo

Who needs free speech when you can just log on your social media website of preference and watch a video about a puppy or a kitten, inspirational videos that have been told a thousand times but with different voices and expressions, a gif, a funny post or whatever else there is to ignore the status quo? We are all guilty of this.
And when we actually want to know what's happening around us, we tend to hear the voices of those who already have decided what to like and dislike with a distinctive lack of nuance. Nuance is dead the moment people found five second clip videos to be more entertaining. If people cared for details about the news as much as they care about their celebrities of preference instead of relying on headlines, maybe things would be different.

But let's be honest, all of us are biased as hell! Time to watch a youtube video or two and, again, forget about... the status quo.
